Friends Relationship Matrix

Friends captivated viewers across multiple generations, and it’s still relevant enough that Netflix paid $100M to keep streaming it. And like all things we love, Friends certainly has its flaws: it aged poorly, rarely featured characters of color, and ran three seasons too long. That being said, the trials and tribulations of their love lives drove the show’s run. We revel in their romantic success, wallow in their mishaps, and laugh at their disasters.

Below I broke down both Chandler Bing’s and Rachel Green’s romantic partners over the show’s ten seasons. I ranked them on a scale of both that character’s datability and the couple’s watchability. Also, the bigger the head, the bigger the character.
